I agree, but they are also a bit depressing. When I moved back to Melbourne after 12 years away I immediately got myself a post office box in Yarraville, in part because I thought once I got my act together I'd move there. Long before I got my act together the area became absolutely horrendously gentrified and now not only could I not afford to live there I'd actually prefer not to. And I had this PO box in a place that didn't want me and I didn't want either.
